Found directly over the lovely Oura Beach, most of the units within this high end holiday resort face south, giving highest contact with the exquisite Algarve sun. The holiday resort is within easy walking distance of a lot restaurants and night spots, and it is about 2km from Albufeira.
The resort features child and adult pools next to a unique restaurant and bar.
The Oura-View Beach Club is roughly a 40 minute drive from Faro airport.
Right after going out of Faro airport, drive immediately for about 3km and soon you start to see the sign for IP1. At this indication, turn right and join the 125 motorway. Keep to the signs to IP1 – Portimão and take the Albufeira exit. You will now take over re-joined the 125 motorway. Continue along this road and at the first set of traffic lights, immediately turn right on the way to Albufeira.

The Oura View Beach Club apartments are a mix of studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments. Living locations and bedrooms are contemporary and classy in modern Montechoro blue, even though the kitchens, which were all upgraded and refurbished in 2002, include fresh marble worktops and micro waves. One and 2 bedroom apartments also feature dishwashers.
Oura View Beach Club Studio Apartments
There exists a choice of two studio types along the Oura-View Beach Club, a normal studio which usually sleeps 2 adults, or possibly a large studio which could sleep 2 adults and 1 child.
Oura View Beach Club One Bedroom Apartments
One bedroom apartments will sleep up to 4 adults. There’s a bedroom with either a double or twin beds, and a lounge area with sofa bed, plus a balcony.
Oura View Beach Club Two Bedroom Apartments
Two bedroom apartments have a bedroom having a double bed, a bedroom with twin beds, along with a lounge area with sofa bed, and will sleep up to six adults. Checking in at the Oura-View Beach Club takes place on either Saturday or Sunday. It is possible to check in to your apartment after 5:00 pm at the time of your arrival and also you must check out by 10:00 am at the time of your respective departure.

My family and I (children aged 5 and 
visited oura view beach club on 12th june 2010 for one week. We were lucky enough to stay within one of the 2 bedroomed infinity apartments. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The main attraction for us was the pool which for the children and ourselves was ideal, there was a resturant within the pool area which was slightly expensive but due to its location well worth the money. The surrounding area was exactly what you would expect, lots of bars and resturants. The sister hotel to the oura view was a few minutes walk and had plenty of activities for both children and adults.

There was a family group of 11 and we had 3 apartments. Apartments were spotlessly clean and well equipped for self catering. Full size freezer which was useful for the lollies! It was unfortunate that our apartment was opposite a fair which was only there for august, lots of noise between 8pm-1am. The pool complex is lovely, gorgeous large infinity pool with a slide that comes out in a lower pool. Separate pool for young children which is only a foot deep, ideal for little ones. The only problem was the number of guests reserving sun lounges and then not appearing until 3-4pm after a day at the beach:( Do think they should reserve the sunbed near the kiddie pool for those families with young children though. Lollies by the pool are double the price in local shops. There isn’t a very good supermarket nearby so it was difficult to self cater! The restaurants on the strip were pretty samey and a bit hit and miss with the quality. Would reccommend th sizzling stone restaurant nearby. Overall a good family holiday, shame there were no real childrens facilities at oura view although they did have a kids club at clube praia oura, the sister hotel. Very obvious timeshare activity.
